Koos Timmermans joined ING in 1996 and has been a member of the executive team since 2007 when he was appointed as ING’s first chief risk officer. In 2011, he became vice-chairman of the Management Board Banking and assumed responsibility for the Market Leaders division in 2014. He was appointed chief financial officer in 2017.
In his role as vice-chairman he was also responsible for the ING and UNICEF Power for Youth partnership. His commitment to UNICEF and to the development of young people went beyond giving strategic direction. Every year, along with 600 ING colleagues he took part in ING's Power for Youth run, a running event to raise funds for UNICEF to empower youngsters with 21st century skills.
For Koos, the best farewell present he can receive is in line with his commitment to young people. Therefore he invites you to make a donation on his behalf to the ING and UNICEF Power for Youth partnership.
Your donation will be doubled by ING as part of ING's global policy to double all employees donations and funds raised to UNICEF.
